All of our kids, parents, family and friends want to thank you for making #Giving Tuesday a big success! We reached our goal of $2500 and it was matched by one of our individual donors for a grand total of $5,000!!

Your love and generosity will make sure that musical education programs for our area youth will continue. Funding will also be used for instruments, qualified instructors and new programs! Thank you so much!!

Halloween Uke Spook Fest

The Young Yukes, Yukies and Tri State Ukeclectic Orchestra on stage at The Hancock Performing Arts Center on October 25th. The musical play was well received and all of our BCMC students did a great job! Thanks to the Hancock Arts Council, patrons and the families of our students for their continued support. Special thanks to the Tri State Ukeclectic Orchestra and their leader and playwright Mike Kilgerman!

Stacy Drake, our valued VISTA member, has completed his year of service to BlackCat Music Cooperative.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Tom & Virginia Seely Foundation, we were fortunate to be able to offer Stacy a second year, and he has graciously accepted!
I’m sure I speak for all our Board members when I say to Stacy: Your energy, talent and
hard work have delivered great benefits to BCMC. Your passion and innovation have been vital to our organization’s growth, and most importantly, to the kids we serve and empower. We look forward to another year of partnership with a fabulous VISTA!

Thank you, Stacy!
