
Mikayla Elmes has been a member of the Young Yukes for two years since moving to the area from Massachusetts. As a member of the group she plays guitar, sings and recently started playing the cello which is featured when the group plays the Beatles song, “Eleanor Rigby.”
She attends Berkeley Springs High School and is a member of the girls soccer team. Mikayla enjoys reading, writing, crocheting, and playing music. She loves to hang out with her friends and pets.
Mikayla has served as a mentor to fellow students and also helped teach kids at the Boys and Girls Club of Morgan County how to play ukulele and guitar. She currently helps as an administrative assistant at BlackCat Music Cooperative on Thursdays after school.

Monroe Wohleber is an original member of The Young Yukes formed in September of 2018. As a member of this popular group, she sings and plays ukulele and guitar. Her love for music has expanded into learning to play the violin and she was a cast member of the SingBig! two week summer musical camp in 2023.
Monroe likes to crochet, read books, dance and enjoy all aspects of the theatre. She loves to go hiking and everything that the outdoors has to offer.
Monroe is part of the BCMC Youth Mentorship Program and volunteers each Thursday to help kids at the Morgan County Boys and Girls Club learn to play ukulele and guitar.
